My business has been a crazy series of ups and downs, just like any other entrepreneur or small business owners I’m sure.

Over the years I have worked with some AMAZING clients and I have also worked with some terrible ones 🙁  I’m talking calls at all hours of the night and everything being an emergency!

As 2019 was coming to a close I had this strange feeling of not being fulfilled.   I felt like my work and my business just didn’t create the same spark for me as it used to.  I love what I do, right now I have awesome clients, but I just kept feeling like something is missing.  So I did what every overachieving entrepreneur does. I started adding more “stuff” to my plate, I tried taking on bigger clients and more clients, I helped run the fundraiser for the PTA, I signed up as a leader in Girl Scouts and seriously ran myself into the ground.

Of course, I started feeling like maybe something is wrong, maybe there is something going on with me, so I dove into personal development.  Trying to get my head screwed back on straight, I started listening to everyone who was an authority on personal development and discovery.

Then one night as I was watching Jack Canfield: Masterclass after the kids went to bed it hit me in the face so hard I choked on my wine. (If you want to the same punch in the face it’s right around 9 minutes in.)

He explained that everything was going great in his business but he just wasn’t feeling the joy he should, he was not filling happy or fulfilled by the work.  He had to take a step back and look at what it was in this work that gave him joy, and he found it was interacting with people. He said that more and more of his work was moving to the internet or teleseminars.  He was creating content alone in a studio or at his house to put in videos and on websites and that wasn’t doing what he loved. He said his purpose is to interact with large groups of people, to do live events, and inspire those around him.  (*cue the choking)

I realized that although things are going great right now, I’m not living my purpose.   Now, this does sound like the most “millennial” thing to cry about, “Oh I have a great business that lets me do what I want when I want and pay the bills, but I’m not happy…😢😢😢”  So don’t think that is lost on me, but it’s true. So I sat down and thought about what I did that made me the happiest. When I first started my business, why did working 80+ hours a week still feel fun?

I was teaching.  I was figuring stuff out and teaching others how to use it.  The thing that lights my soul on FIRE is teaching to a large group, a close second to that is seeing that AHA moment when someone finally gets it.  I don’t get that doing the work for people.  Sure, it does pay a heck of a lot better, but I don’t really get my feel goods from it.

I’m not living up to my dreams and goals of inspiring a million people.  I’m not helping the people who are like me way back, in the beginning, trying to figure this stuff out to make an impact on their businesses and their lives.

So in 2020, I am going to do the things I love, I am going to get up every day and set my soul on fire helping those people that really need it and that really want it.  I’m committed to helping people find that AHA moment when it really clicks for them and they start to love doing their marketing.

I would like to introduce Marketing Mastermind with Whitney Bingham.  I am going to take all the gold nuggets I have learned from doing the work, teaching classes, creating my courses, and conducting intensive workshops and deliver it in simple chunked down, actionable steps.

When I teach from stage I want every person in the room to walk out of there going wow, and taking with them something to apply in their business.  So, I pack so much content into every class, to make sure that no matter what level of understanding someone is on, they can get value from my class.  I’ve had people come to the same class over and over and each time they pick up something new. That is my goal for Marketing Mastermind.

Each month we will take a topic and dive deep into it.  Not just the fluffy crap you get from a lot of people teaching online but the step by step of how to put this in place in your business.  There will be:

To those of you that have attended any of my classes just imagine getting a class twice a month with all that additional support in between!  I told you that my goal is to help a million people so I also kept the price to a minimum. Just $49/month to join.

I can’t wait to help you reach your business goals in 2020.
